Voting Question: Any ideas for a safe, fun, spring break?

I'm a senior in high school and I'm 18. My friends and I want to all pitch in and rent a place for spring break but we have no clue where to start. Things we're looking for include a place within 8 hour driving distance or less from Chattanooga, TN; Not too crowded; Something "different" (I do FL like every year); Nothing too outrageously priced; Obviously we want something fun.
