Resolved Question: What does it usually cost to rent a car for 24 hours?

My long distance boyfriend is coming in town the last weekend in February, and I am currently car-less, and he is flying, so we won't have a car to get around. So we were planning on renting a car, but I have no idea how much it would be. I read somewhere it depends on age, so he's 20 years old if that will help (he'll be the one paying). We will be renting in Chattanooga, TN and picking up and dropping off at the same destination of course. We're just looking for the cheapest possible car. The type of the car does not matter.
